Abilities: The Chokaro rides a water buffalo and has the appearance of a very old man dressed in Taoist garb. It is fluent in speaking nonsensical pirate Chinese and is horrible at playing the fish drum. The water buffalo slowly wanders along major pathways playing a cacophony of barely musical fish drumming. Its senile fish drumming antics may cause unwary wanderers to be off guard and fall in to its trap. Upon sufficiently amusing its prey, the Chokaro's water buffalo opens its mouth full of razor teeth and tries to shred the surprised victim with lightning speed and absorb their soul energy. The Chokaro are very weak, and may dissipate into soul energy with a change in the breeze.
Miscellaneous Notes: Even though the Chokaro are capable of limited speech, they are considered feral demons with no sentience. Wanderers by nature, the Chokaro are solitary and do not breed, they only manifest in certain locations where the soul energy balance is right.
