Abilities: The Tekkai take the shape of a sickly old man, barely dressed in beggar's robes. They carry an iron crutch to support themselves, and hold a gourd with a mysterious vapor coming from the end. Tekkai are capable of speaking in senile gibberish, with a strong accent of euphoria. This vapor often permeates an area of at least fifteen feet, unless strong winds are present. The vapor causes all but mentally resilient demons to succumb to euphoria and hallucinations. Encounters with Tekkai often end in waking up with many bruises from an iron crutch, or a sudden addiction to the mysterious vapor after the Tekkai passes. When the Tekkai's vapor is diverted, they are easy to defeat, being as strong as a human crippled old man.
Miscellaneous Notes: Tekkai often sit in shady places or hobble along main pathways, with no goal in sight. The solitary Tekkai manifest rarely in areas of great soul energy, such as around an archdemon's aura, or near the soul river. If a Tekkai is defeated, it will leave behind its gourd full of vapor, which can be used to create very powerful drugs enough to make archdemons high in sufficient concentrations. The Tekkai will dissipate and the iron crutch will turn to rust.
