EXOD
Name: Exod
Aliases: Exodus, Skeletal Cobra, Blind Abyss
Sphere: Entropic Chasm
Tier: Elite
Picture:
Abilities: The Exod is a highly dangerous Demon. One would not think it; it takes on the visage of a mainly skeletal cobra or snake type creature, about six inches thick and anywhere from nine to fifteen feet long. It cannot move particularly fast, and its low-hanging arms typically only reach as high as most humans' torsos, though its claws are tapered like sickles and can slash with relative aplomb.
No, the true nature of the Exod lies not in its physical or obvious attributes but in its eyes. Those damning, gaping, blank voids of eyes. Staring into them at first yields nothing but a cold shiver; but the longer you look, the less you feel like moving, the more demoralised you become - and the Exod does not move, no it simply stays there, releasing a cold hiss which will make your bones shiver, an echoing chime from within its skeletal jaw, and it will keep staring. Though you'd best break this gaze whilst you can: for if the Exod keeps contact with you for a solid minute or any longer, you'll be paralysed for the next five.
During these five minutes, once you are completely paralysed, the Exod will have numbed both your movement, mind, and your feeling. It will slither up and wreathe itself about you; it will coil around you like a constrictor and engulf your entire body. Then it will sit there. It will press its face barely centimetres from yours. And it will wait until sensation returns. It will wait for you to struggle. To scream. To resist. And then it will constrict all at once and crush every bone in your body. It will then begin to savagely carve you up and begin eating you, dead or alive, lying there unable to move. And that's all she wrote.
Miscellaneous Notes: - The Exod are renowned for being physically weak, but if they coil around something, they can crush even stone through simple constriction due to the hardiness of their body. It's simply the fact that they move so slowly that proves an issue.
- Believed to be serpentine in origin.
- Can stifle minor speech but are for the main part unintelligent.
- Serve on a gluttonous hunger though slumber near incessantly.
