HECATONCHIRES
Name: Hecatonchires- The Hundred Handed Ones
Aliases: Briareus the Vigorous, Corrus the Furious, and Gyges the Big-Limbed; Destruction Incarnate; The Big Boys; The Last Resort; FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUu-; “So that’s what would happen if Abaddon survived for a year…neat!”
Sphere: Spirelands
Tier: Fuck-Elite
Picture:
Abilities: Formed from the souls of ancient and terrible War Criminals, the Hecatonchires are amongst the most devastatingly destructive entities in Inferis barring the Archdemons and a select few others. While its core is a single human soul of supremely concentrated evil, it is a composite being composed of the many souls of that core soul’s victims and those they dragged down with them. The end result is a fifty foot tower of raging muscle, screaming heads, and vicious powerful limbs with a thirst for nothing less that complete omnicide. While Lucifer’s Walking Apocalypse are something like a surgical laser, cutting away his enemies with supreme finesse, the Hecatonchires are like using an atomic bomb to get rid of an itch; expect nothing less that absolute annihilation of a several square mile area. These things are more like a force of nature than true demons and just like certain destructive forces can go into deep periods of dormancy only to pop up again and cause terrible devastation.
Supreme Powerhouse: Beyond Lucifer, an Enraged Moloch, or Legion at in fully integrated form, there are few demons in all of Hell that have even a hope of coming close to the sheer physical might of a Hecatonchires.
Gate Crashing: Perhaps among the most feared powers of the Hecatonchires, these beasts are capable of leaping between any two points in Inferis with destructive effect. Due to the exhausting amount of power required to complete this feat, any individual Hecatonchires can only do this leap once per month. When the beast does this they actually leap into the air and shatter a hole in space, instantly sending them as a fiery meteor of hate and destruction to land upon their destination point with the force of a tactical warhead.
Why Won’t It Die?!: Just as the Walking Apocalypse is just about impenetrable, the Hecatonchires’ regeneration power is so great that barring the force of scores of powerful demons, the power of an Archentity (Demon or Angel), or a very powerful religion relic there appears to be about no way to do lasting damage to these things.
Mindless: The Hecatonchires are mindless brutes made of power and an overwhelming instinct to destroy. This makes it relatively easy for Archdemons, and similarly powerful beings, to mentally dominate them and force them to their will. Hecatonchires know nothing of tactics and have an excessively hard time following complex instructions; if not given some purpose, they will automatically take the most direct path towards their target and wreak as much damage (collateral or otherwise) while they go.
Supreme Multi-Handed Fighting: As essentially destruction incarnate, the Hecatonchires are capable of wielding just about any instrument of war placed into their hands. If not otherwise specifically equipped, it can be assumed that the beasts are wielding dozens of bladed, pointed, and/or blunt weapons for rend their targets into so much pulp. Any hands not equipped can be assumed to either be thrashing around to grasp and crush anything that comes close or are tossing massive boulders with the force of a cruise missile.
Fifty Heads are Better Than Two: It is impossible to flank or sneak up on a Hecatonchires unless you somehow blind an entire side of the monster.
Miscellaneous Notes: -Essentially the living Siege Engines of Hell
-Probably a dangerously bad idea for the three of them to be present at the same event
-They do not talk, only growl out guttural warcries that rumble like earthquakes
-Will Fuck You Up
