Portraits are abstract angels in multiple ways. First, they are not one would particularly expect out of the Host, the beings having shadowy and somewhat menacing forms, looking like dark children, though their forms can widely vary, even sometimes looking animals and more demonic creatures. Second, and more importantly, it should be noted that Portraits can exist in both the second and third dimension. They can effectively become one with walls and meld into the second dimension, becoming impossible to hurt. More terrifying yet, they possess the power to bring anything they are grabbing onto with them, often grabbing demons and fighting them in the second dimension, a realm that is difficult to comprehend when actually inside of it. It is a strange land where physics that you would naturally expect no longer exist, giving the angel an advantage. Worse yet, they can also let go mid-transition, leaving one half of a person or demon in the third dimension and the other half in the second...which, as one would expect, is often messy.


Abilities: Can exist in the second dimension, can drag others to the second dimension, has widely varying forms.

Miscellaneous Notes: They were once the most feared unit in the angelic force until a small demonic militia found that they could be drawn out of the second dimension by flashing red lights at them, a strange phenomena, but one that the demonic legions have yet to question and simply have used. It's common practice for demonic troops to carry laser-sights on their firearms.
