Today, I, your friendly bestairy guide, will be taking you on a magical journey to learn about the Tangerine Kraken.

Some of you may be wondering why yet another giant squid is being documented. "Oh, there isn't anything different about that set of tentacles, it is essentially the same as every other kraken."

To think this you would be wrong, as the Tangerine Kraken was named so because it likes to eat tangerines. No, not really, the Tangerine Kraken is in fact a strict carnivore. What, you thought it ate little fruit? Imagine how ridiculous that would be, imagine how many fruit it would have to fill it's stomach? The Tangerine Kraken was in fact named so because it is an orange color. Why it is colored so brightly is unknown, surely it does not need to follow hunting laws. Some studies show that only the male octopus takes on this shape, to attract pretty little lady octopi.

That is not the only thing about the Tangerine Kraken that attracts the ladies, however. The demon takes "eating out" to a whole new level. The sea-creature's tongue also serves as his penis, as he only has one orifice. This is used for the peeing, the pooping, and of course, the eating and the doing. While many think this is nasty, it is simply the beautiful circle of life in Inferis. Amazing. When the female Tangerine Kraken becomes pregnant, she lays her babies in a deep cavern, where she then becomes a living womb for her young. The babies are at first born without a skull, and therefore use their mother's a nest while they slowly eat her flesh for nutrients. Because Tangerine Kraken babies are so mushy-mushy, they are quite the target for other predators. For that reason, they have developed a number of natural defenses.

The Tangerine Kraken learn to use their natural defenses at the age of one day, showing them to be some of the more intelligent demons in Inferis. These defenses all revolve around their anus-mouths, as anybody would have guessed. They are lined with sharp teeth used for bitey biting, teeth that grow back within weeks of being lost. Additionally, they also have the ability to shoot ink out of their asses. This does no physical harm to any of the predators that may seek it out, but, it does confuse the living shit out of them. To understand this, imagine that your mouth was also your anus and you puked black tar all over anybody who spooked you. That is how the Tangerine Kraken do.

The adult elite demon is about three tons in weight, and measures about twenty-three feet per tentacle, making it one of the larger creatures of the Black Sea. The major factor that makes this demon different from the standard kraken is the fact that it shows more signs of being an octopus than a squid, mostly because it has eight tentacles rather than more.
